No knitting this week, been busy reading. Silly me.
No pictures either, it's late. The West End Fair
is this week. Hubby and I went on Monday night. The
parking lot was muddy, since it rained Sunday when it
first opened. Luckily it didn't rain while we were
there. I had worn my sandals, which was the wrong
thing. My feet were quite sore by the time we went
home. I looked for my cousin at the Craft tent. They
do wooden crafts. It's about the only time I get to
see her. Wouldn't you know she wasn't there on Monday
night, her hubby was minding the store. Thought I would
go today, but it was raining, so didn't. We'll see what
it does tomorrow. Actually the fair is about the same
every year. But we always go at least once every year.
Gee, I am tired, and should head to bed. More next time.
So, haven't been knitting.

Hi all,
Sorry it's taken me so long to post. Silly me.
We went away this past weekend. Went down to Baltimore to visit our son, Ben and his wife, Denise. We parked in front of their house after visiting the Baltimore National Aquarium which was great. Anyway, Friday night, someone broke the rear side window in my hubby's Subaru Outback. We had gotten dressed to go somewhere Saturday morning. I got in, and hubby walked around the back of the car to get in, when he said "OH NO!" I looked back and the window was in thousands of little pieces sort of still hanging in the frame. Of course when he slammed the back door some of the glass fell out. So, we had to call Ben, as they had left before us, and we had locked the door on the way out. So, he got a ride back, and we called Insurance and they found a place in Baltimore for us to get it fixed. Then, he called the place and got an appt. for 12:30 that afternoon. Ben went with him. We have a $500 deductible and wouldn't you know the window, which had an antenna in it, cost $498. Such fun.
Later that day, we took Ben and Denise out to dinner. We walked to the restaurant which turned out to be a Western type. The decorations were eclectic from hanging pine cones, to Album covers for the menu. Also Chinese lanterns, etc. I ended up having a BBQ Burger. It was pretty good.
Saturday night, luckily, the car was ok. We went to church in Baltimore. Then we went back to their house, changed our clothes, ate some lunch and then went home.
I did some knitting on that washcloth. Did I tell you that I frogged it all and restarted it. So did maybe two 12 row repeats while I was there. Can't knit too long at a time or the Carpal tunnel acts up.
Promise to write more often, and put some pics up next time.

Book Meme
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig for that “cool” or “intellectual” book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
"Writer W.M. Lewis said, "The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it." So many of us have wasted so much of our vital energy talking about the great life we could have or will have or should have. All that is fine, but it will not deliver us the best year of our lives."
Well, the title of that book is in the 3 line quote. Take a guess and leave me a comment. Also, you are tagged for the book meme.
